Belotero in Charlotte, NC
Fine lines tend to develop in areas where your skin is most delicate. Most dermal fillers are too thick to subtly improve these signs of aging, but now there’s Belotero®. Board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. David F. Klein, and board-eligible plastic surgeon, Dr. Andrew Kochuba, specialize in Belotero® treatments for men and women in Charlotte, Salisbury, Harrisburg, Concord and surrounding areas of North Carolina.
What is Belotero®?
The secret behind Belotero® is a combination of hyaluronic acid and a smooth gel consistency. Hyaluronic acid is known to soften lines and wrinkles by attracting water to the skin, which adds volume to fill in lines and wrinkles. Belotero® is especially effective for treating crow’s feet, vertical lip lines, and other fine lines, because the consistency of the gel works quite well with more delicate skin, such as the skin around your eyes and mouth.
Benefits of Belotero®
Belotero® is preferred amongst our patients for treating fine lines because it:
- Requires no downtime
- Takes less than one hour
- Offers the most subtle and natural results available
Who is the Ideal Candidate for Belotero®?
Belotero® is perfect for men and women who have fine lines around the eyes and mouth. It can be used as a standalone treatment or in conjunction with other dermal fillers and injectables.
What Do I Need to Do Before Belotero®?
Finding the right dermal filler for your anti-aging needs can be a daunting task because you have so many options. This is why we recommend that you start with a consultation at HKB Renaissance Plastic Surgery. Dr. Klein and Dr. Andrew Kochuba have a patient-centered approach that helps you feel confident and comfortable with your choices.
How Long Does It Take to Perform Belotero®?
The initial treatment with Belotero® will take about one hour. This is because the largest amount of correction is needed during the first appointment. Follow-up treatments take less time, generally between 15 and 30 minutes.
What to Expect After Belotero®
Any type of injection into the skin has the risk of developing certain types of symptoms. With Belotero®, you may experience localized swelling, bruising, discomfort and fine pinpoint bleeding. These symptoms can last up to seven days. We will explain the aftercare for your Belotero® treatments to ensure that you achieve the best possible results.
Will I Have Scars After Getting Belotero®?
Belotero® treatments do not cause scars.
When Will I See the Results?
You will see results right after the appointment. Full results may take some time to become visible as the hyaluronic acid attracts more water to your skin.
How Long Will the Results of Belotero® Last?
The results of Belotero® treatments last up to nine months.
How Much Does Belotero® Cost in Charlotte?
Because Belotero® is a cosmetic procedure, it is not covered by your medical insurance. After the consultation, we will have a treatment plan that allows us to determine a cost for the procedure. For your convenience, we accept payment by cash, check and major credit card. Financing is available through CareCredit®.
