BellaFill in Charlotte, NC
Long-lasting results from cosmetic treatments is of utmost importance to men and women in Charlotte, Salisbury, Harrisburg, Concord and surrounding areas of North Carolina. In order to provide top-notch treatments to patients, board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Klein, and board-eligible plastic surgeon, Dr. Andrew Kochuba, offer BellaFill® as a non-surgical anti-aging solution.
What is BellaFill®?
BellaFill® is a collagen-based dermal filler that helps with smile lines and acne scars. The product provides long-lasting, natural results. BellaFill® is primarily collagen, but it also has miniscule spheres of polymethyl methacrylate, or PMMA. Collagen is important for maintaining young skin because it provides a support structure that keeps the skin “lifted.” As our collagen levels decline naturally, our skin loses this important component and begins to collapse inward. This is how we develop lines and wrinkles.
Benefits of BellaFill®
BellaFill® helps soften laugh lines and fill in acne scars by combining the supportive characteristics of collagen with spheres of PMMA. Together, the collagen and PMMA spheres provide long-lasting support to the skin. BellaFill®:
- Requires no surgery, incisions or downtime
- Gives immediate results
- Lasts up to five years
Who is the Ideal Candidate for BellaFill®?
You should be at least 21 years old before having BellaFill® treatments. If you have certain allergies, medical conditions or a history of problems arising from dermal fillers and injectables, BellaFill® may not be right for you.
What Do I Need to Do Before BellaFill®?
BellaFill® works wonders when it is used in the right circumstances and administered by a qualified plastic surgeon. In order to achieve the best possible results from your BellaFill® treatments, we recommend that you start with a consultation with Dr. Klein and Dr. Andrew Kochuba.
How Long Does It Take to Perform BellaFill®?
Treatment with BellaFill® takes about one hour. Follow-up treatments may take less time.
What to Expect After BellaFill®
You should not massage or rub the area where BellaFill® was injected as this may diffuse the collagen-based gel into surrounding tissues and diminish your results. If you experience swelling, tenderness or bruising, non-prescription pain medication can help with the discomfort. You may also have slight pinpoint bleeding at the points where the needle was inserted into the skin. These symptoms should last seven days or less.
Will I Have Scars After Getting BellaFill®?
BellaFill® treatments do not cause scarring. If Dr. Klein and Dr. Andrew Kochuba administer the product to correct your acne scars, you will see a noticeable improvement after just one treatment.
When Will I See the Results?
How Long Will the Results of BellaFill® Last?
In clinical studies, patients enjoyed the benefits of BellaFill® treatments for up to five years.
How Much Does BellaFill® Cost in Charlotte?
Because BellaFill® is an elective cosmetic treatment, the cost is not covered under insurance. After your consultation, we will have a treatment plan upon which to base your cost. For your convenience, HKB Renaissance Plastic Surgery accepts payment by cash, check and major credit card. Financing is available through CareCredit®.
